    A Year With No Races

    I ran in my first race when I was 20. Fresh out of college, I think I needed something concrete to focus on. My running seemed to come out of nowhere, but as anyone who has started a fitness habit knows–it never does. I remember the 15 minute walks around the path of my apartment complex. The one minute run/two minute walks that followed.
